RECIPE: Parmesan Ranch Potato Chips

Parmesan Ranch Potato ChipsQuick & Easy Party Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 Russett Potato per person
  • 1 Tbsp Dry Ranch Dip Mix
  • 1 tbsp Finely grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Cooking Oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oil in deep fryer to 375F or large saucepan on High
  2. Peel Potatoes
  3. Use a vegetable turner to make spiral chips
  4. Line a cookie sheet with paper towels
  5. Arrange spiral chips in flat layer on paper towels
  6. Use more paper towels on top to firmly press out any water
  7. Repeat step five as many times as you need to remove all moisture, potatoes need to be dry
  8. Deep fry chips, turning until brown
  9. Drain on wire rack
  10. Mix ranch seasoning with Parmesan until combined together
  11. sprinkle chips with seasoning while hot
  12. Serve in chip bowl

 

 

Use this Seasoning Salt For:

  1. French Fries
  2. Spiral Chips
  3. Vegetable Chips

 

 

Will store for 3 months  if sealed in an airtight container with lid, don’t forget to label it & write used By date

  • 2 Roma Tomatoes – Diced
  • 1-2 Chopped Green Onion / Scallion
  • 1/2 tbsp Chopped Parsley
  • 1-2 Tbsp Balsamic Glaze


Directions

  1. Cut tomatoes into diced cubes
  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir



    Variations:
  • You can add diced red onion
  • Add basil, mint, cilantro or other herbs

  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Kalamata Olives
  • Feta Cheese Crumbles
  • Parsley Flakes
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Balsamic Glaze

Wonton Chips (or tortilla)

Directions

  1. Cut Tomatoes in half
  2. Pit & Cut Kalamata Olives into 1/4’s
  3. Mix together
  4. Drizzle with Olive Oil
  5. Drizzle with Balsamic Glaze
  6. Crumble Feta Cheese Over the top
  7. Sprinkle Parsley Flakes on top

RECIPE: Wonton Chips

Super Easy Appetizer, Snack Food Chip alternative for any Birthday, Football or Holiday Party

Ingredients

  • 1 Package Small Square Wonton Wrappers
  • Cooking oil

Directions

Method 1 : BAKE IN OVEN

    1. Pre-heat oven to 375F
    2. Cut small square wonton wrappers diagonally into 4 triangles or you can cook them first and break by hand after they have cooled
    3. Line a cookie sheet with foil
    4. Lay pieces flat not overlapping
    5. Bake 6 mins on one side and 2-3 mins on the other

These make a great crunchy chip for fondue or dips if you leave them unsalted

You can season them liberally with your favorite seasoning, herbs or seasoned salt

 Method 2: Deep Fry

    1. Pre-Heat Oil to 375F
    2. Cut into triangles
    3. Place a triangles into pre-heated oil, turning with tongs or slotted spoon, remove when brown and drain on paper towel lined  baking pan
    4. Do them in small batches
    5. They cook quickly 2-3 min

Serve with our Homemade Guacamole or Salsa

Store unused chips in an airtight container with lid

4 Wrappers = 16 Chips = 1 Serving Size

RECIPE: Sun-Dried Tomato Chips

No Carbs, Super Easy, Healthy Snack Alternative to Chips

These are cooked in a LOW, Slow Oven for several hours

Ingredients

  • 3 Lbs Roma Tomatoes
  • Sea Salt
  • EVOO

Directions

  • Pre-Heat Oven to 200F
  • Line Cookie Sheet / Pizza Tray with Foil
  • Slice Tomatoes into 5 even slices each
  • Lay flat on foil lined tray
  • Sprinkle with Sea Salt
  • Lightly Drizzle EVOO on top
  • Bake at 200F for around 2 hours
  • Reduce heat to 170F
  • Bake until Crisp

(5+ hours)

OPTIONAL:

I bake these at night at 170F and  leave them in the oven over night, then take them out of the oven in the morning

Bag them when they are cool 10 at a time into snack size Ziploc bags

TIP:

I have tried these with other seasonings, but I always come back to the  Seasalt & EVOO
