Ingredients

  • 1 Lb Pork Loin
  • 1/4 cup Teriyaki Sauce

You will also need Bamboo Skewers

Satay Sauce:

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Tsp Curry Powder

Directions

  1. Cut Pork into 1″x3″ Strips
  2. Marinate in Teriyaki Sauce for 1 hour
  3. Heat Non Stick Skillet med-high
  4. Lay marinated Pork strips flat
  5. Cook until brown on one side
  6. Turn and cook on the other side
  7. Remove from heat
  8. Add skewer to cooked strips
  9. Mix Satay Sauce ingredients together in a small bowl
  10. Serve skewers with Satay dipping sauce while hot

  • Use chicken or steak instead of pork
  • You can gently warm sauce

RECIPE: Teriyaki Chicken Skewers

Great Food on a Stick Appetizer for any Birthday, Football Holiday Party

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Boneless, skinless Chicken breasts

Teriyaki Sauce:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • 4 tablespoons mirin
  • 5 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

You will also need Bamboo Skewers
(Soak in water so they don’t burn when cooking)

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400F
  2. Put all sauce ingredients in a small sauce pan and bring to a boil
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for three minutes
  4. Remove from heat and strain over a pyrex dish or container(make sure you have a firm fitting lid for it) using a fine sieve
  5. Place chicken strips in sauce container/dish, put lid firmly on and Toss and turn until all chicken is coated
  6. Marinate in fridge for an hour
  7. Remove chicken and thread on skewers
  8. Grill skewers under outdoor grill for best results


If cooking Indoors:

  • Pre-heat oven to 400F
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes turning halfway through cooking time

    RECIPE: Asian Beef Skewers

    Ingredients

    • 1 Lb Milanese Beef (Very thin sliced)
    • (or You could use flank steak & Pound It Thin)
    • 2 Tsp Oyster Sauce
    • 4 Tsp Low-Sodium Soy
    • 4 Tsp Dry Cooking Sherry
    • 1 Tsp Bicarb Soda
    • 1 Tsp Cornflour


    Directions

    1. Cut steak into strips
    2. In a large stainless steel or glass mixing bowl add Oyster Sauce, Soy, Sherry, Bicarb and Cornflour
    3. Mix until smooth and lump free with a fork
    4. Place beef in marinade and toss until all meat is coated
    5. Marinate meat covered in fridge for 3 hours
    6. When Meat has been marinated and is ready to cook, Soak skewers in water so they won’t burn when cooking
    7. Preheat Broiler 400F
    8. Thread Beef Strips on Skewers and lay on flat oven proof dish or tray
    9. Cook 3-4 mins on top oven rack
    10. then turn with skewers
    11. Cook another 3-4 Mins

    RECIPE: Bacon Wrapped Chicken Sticks

    Ingredients

    • 1 Skinless, boneless Chicken Breast per person
    • 1 lb bacon
    • Parsley flakes
    • 1 cup low sodium chicken broth


    Directions

    1. Soak wooden Skewers in Water
    2. Cut chicken into cubes and Soak in chicken broth for 1 hour in fridge
    3. Preheat oven to 400F
    4. Skewer chicken cubes and Wrap each skewer of chicken in bacon
    5. Make sure bacon ends are on the underside
    6. Place wrapped chicken in baking dish
    7. Cook 15-20 mins
    8. To crisp bacon, preheat skillet and pan fry after taking out of oven, turning over as you go to crisp each side

    RECIPE: Spinach & Cheese Triangles

    Super Easy Appetizer, Great Finger Food for any Birthday or Football Party

    Ingredients

    • 1 Package frozen spinach
    • 8 oz Grated Mozzarella Cheese
    • 3 Bacon Rashers
    • 1 Egg
    • Filo Pastry Sheets
    • 1 egg extra

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven 375 F
    2. Cook bacon in non stick skillet
    3. Drain & chop into pieces
    4. In a microwave mixing bowl, add spinach, cheese and lightly beaten egg
    5. Mix through with fork until combined
    6. Microwave on high 1 min till cheese has melted
    7. Add cooked bacon and combine
    8. Lay filo pastry sheet flat
    9. Spoon spinach mixture into sheet and fold into a triangle folding over and over until sheet finished
    10. Lightly beat 2nd egg in a small glass bowl
    11. Lay Spinach triangles flat on cookie sheet tray
    12. Brush with lightly beaten egg
    13. Cook 10-15 mins at 375 F on middle oven rack until brown

    • 2 Ripe Avocados
    • Juice of 1 lemon (or lime)
    • 1 Tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
    • 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
    • 1 Cup Sour Cream
    •  

      Optional:

    • 1 Diced Tomato
    • 1 Packet Bacon Bits

    Directions

    1. Blend all ingredients together with a hand held blender or nutribullet
    2. Serve with tortilla chips or our homemade Wonton Chips

    RECIPE: Salsa

    • 2 Roma Tomatoes – Diced
    • 1-2 Chopped Green Onion / Scallion
    • 1/2 tbsp Chopped Parsley
    • 1-2 Tbsp Balsamic Glaze

    Directions

    1. Cut tomatoes into diced cubes
    2. Add remaining ingredients and stir

     

      Variations:
    • You can add diced red onion
    • Add basil, mint, cilantro or other herbs

    RECIPE: Greek Bruschetta

    Ingredients

    • Cherry Tomatoes
    • Kalamata Olives
    • Feta Cheese Crumbles
    • Parsley Flakes
    • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    • Balsamic Glaze

    Wonton Chips (or tortilla)

    Directions

    1. Cut Tomatoes in half
    2. Pit & Cut Kalamata Olives into 1/4’s
    3. Mix together
    4. Drizzle with Olive Oil
    5. Drizzle with Balsamic Glaze
    6. Crumble Feta Cheese Over the top
    7. Sprinkle Parsley Flakes on top


    Serve with our Wonton Chips

    RECIPE: Wonton Chips

    Super Easy Appetizer, Snack Food Chip alternative for any Birthday, Football or Holiday Party

    Ingredients

    • 1 Package Small Square Wonton Wrappers
    • Cooking oil

    Directions

    Method 1 : BAKE IN OVEN

      1. Pre-heat oven to 375F
      2. Cut small square wonton wrappers diagonally into 4 triangles or you can cook them first and break by hand after they have cooled
      3. Line a cookie sheet with foil
      4. Lay pieces flat not overlapping
      5. Bake 6 mins on one side and 2-3 mins on the other

     

    These make a great crunchy chip for fondue or dips if you leave them unsalted

    You can season them liberally with your favorite seasoning, herbs or seasoned salt

     

     Method 2: Deep Fry

      1. Pre-Heat Oil to 375F
      2. Cut into triangles
      3. Place a triangles into pre-heated oil, turning with tongs or slotted spoon, remove when brown and drain on paper towel lined  baking pan
      4. Do them in small batches
      5. They cook quickly 2-3 min

    Serve with our Homemade Guacamole or Salsa

    Store unused chips in an airtight container with lid
