RECIPE: Asian Beef Skewers

Great Food on a Stick for any Birthday, Football or Holiday Party

  • 1 Lb Milanese Beef (Very thin sliced)
  • (or You could use flank steak & Pound It Thin)
  • 2 Tsp Oyster Sauce
  • 4 Tsp Low-Sodium Soy
  • 4 Tsp Dry Cooking Sherry
  • 1 Tsp Bicarb Soda
  • 1 Tsp Cornflour


  1. Cut steak into strips
  2. In a large stainless steel or glass mixing bowl add Oyster Sauce, Soy, Sherry, Bicarb and Cornflour
  3. Mix until smooth and lump free with a fork
  4. Place beef in marinade and toss until all meat is coated
  5. Marinate meat covered in fridge for 3 hours
  6. When Meat has been marinated and is ready to cook, Soak skewers in water so they won’t burn when cooking
  7. Preheat Broiler 400F
  8. Thread Beef Strips on Skewers and lay on flat oven proof dish or tray
  9. Cook 3-4 mins on top oven rack
  10. then turn with skewers
  11. Cook another 3-4 Mins
